Agribusiness Committee
Want to get involved in promoting the state’s number one industry? Join the Agribusiness Committee where we work hard to get the word out about the importance of the area’s role in feeding the world. This group sponsors a breakfast for livestock exhibitors at the Ag Expo and ND State Fair, along with an Ag Appreciation Golf Scramble.

Ambassadors Committee
Getting involved just got a lot easier by joining the “red coats.” The official public relations arm of the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce, this elite group of 70 members keeps busy visiting Chamber members, cutting ribbons, helping host Business after Hours and delivering the new directories.
Committee limited to 70 members.

Diplomats Committee
Retired business leaders are an important part of the Chamber as they provide input vital to our services by taking part in goodwill visits in surrounding communities.
Meets 9:00 a.m., third Thursday of every month
Energy Committee
Energy is a large part of industry in North Dakota and it continues to grow. This group is working to help keep it a vital asset in the way of jobs, infrastructure, promotion and the business community.
Meets 11:30 a.m., fourth Thursday of every month
Governmental Affairs Committee
Keep up to date on the legislative issues facing business both locally and nationally. This group prepares the Chamber’s Legislative Agenda and hosts an open forum every other year during the ND Legislative Session.
Meets 12:00 noon, third Friday of every month.
Infrastructure Committee
This committee provides input to the Chamber board on issues facing the city, county and state regarding transportation, utilities, technology and more.
Meets 7:30 a.m., second Friday of every month
Junior Achievement Program
Help to educate our young people in grades K- 6 in Minot public and private schools on the importance of the free enterprise system. Material provided. Approximately a five hour commitment.
Military Affairs Committee
TEAM MINOT continues to lead and strengthen the relationship between the community and the military through the Military Affairs Committee. The group sponsors a Sports Day Picnic, International Military Ball, Golf Scramble, Sportsmen’s Feed and more.
There is an ANNUAL FEE of $100, which includes two Sportsmen’s Feed tickets.

Project CLEAN
This group works to keep Minot looking great for potential new companies and visitors. They have two major projects each year which have included painting, raking, picking up garbage and more.

Right Start Committee
Are you excited about what’s happening in Minot and North Dakota? Then help share the story to newcomers from MAFB. A PowerPoint presentation is given every other week to those just arriving so they see all Minot has to offer.
Workforce Development
Minot has seen an increase in jobs and a need for more workers. The Workforce Development group is finding ways to help.

Young Professionals Network (YPN)
Newly formed, YPN includes those ages 21-39 on a mission – to create social and business networking opportunities and community enhancement projects for young professionals in the Minot area. Annual fee of $25.
